Each comment is given a specific ID# and can be personalized by using the Mac School Smart Pronouns. These Smart Pronouns make the most generic comment look specially written for each individual student. Example: Comment #5 ^N has improved ^s grades this term. If this comment ID were chosen for a selected student, Mac School would read the demographic file of the selected student and identify his/her name and sex. The comment would be printed in the following way: Jane has improved her grades this term. OR John has improved his grades this term. The Report Cards module accepts up to 5 comments per student per class per term. Individual teachers can create their own comment files and then merge them into one file from which report cards will be printed. Conflicting ID #'s are also noted.
